Filtration has several stages

1. Pre-filtration – The special material captures gross mechanical impurities and, thanks to its surface form, ensures an even distribution of water, which increases the efficiency of using other stages of filtration.

2. Reduction of carbonate hardness of water – The PURITY Quelle ST filter medium controlly reduces the carbonate hardness of the water to the optimal level. The result is the prevention of the formation of unwanted limescale, high water quality and prepared drinks.

3. Activated carbon filtration – All water – including bypass water – flows through the activated carbon filter, thus removing substances that have an adverse effect on the formation of odors and odors.

4. Fine filtration – At the end of the filtration process, the fine fabric retains all small mechanical impurities.
